Call Your Member of Congress
Not even 24 hours after the events in San Bernardino, the worst mass shooting in the United States since the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, Congress voted AGAINST banning people who are on the national terror watch and no-fly list from buying firearms. They also voted AGAINST background checks for online and private sales of firearms - including highly lethal assault weapons used in these mass shootings.
Call your members of Congress using the lookup tool below. Once you call, let them know that you are a constituent, that you will only vote for candidates that make gun reform a priority, and that you expect to see them take strong action on common sense gun reforms like Universal Background Checks. Then, backup your phone call with an e-mail message.
